Adaptations biochimiques intestinales chez la truite: Influence de l'aliment et de la salinite sur quelques proprietes membranaires ArchiMer

The authors report the results of physiological and biochemical experiments which confirm the important role player by fish (Salmo gairdneri ) intestinal mucosa in their osmoregulatory process. The ability of the dietary lipids to modulate this function is described. It was demonstrated that the ionic apical permeability of the enterocytes are related to their membrane lipid composition. The importance of the essential fatty acids is emphasized. The time course changes of the apical permeability are of value in improving sea water adaptation, similar conclusions are reported for Nacl supplementation.

L'adaptation ecophysiologique et sanitaire de l'ecrevisse turque Astacus leptodactylus a des milieux saumatres: Contribution a l'astaciculture ArchiMer

This influence of salt media on different aspects of biological cycle and on most common pathogenic agents of Turkish freshwater crayfish Astacus leptodactylus is investigated survival and growing of juveniles O super(+) and intermediary individuals 1 super(+) are also studied. Total osmotic metabolism and reproduction, have been recorded. It appears that youngest individuals are particularly sensitive to low salinities (7 ppt.). Intermediary ones are more resistant nevertheless salinity does not improve neither survival nor growing. Copulation, laying and pleopod egg fixation are particularly affected by salt waters. The effects of low salinity on lipid composition in the gills of grey mullet "Liza ramada" OceanDocs

Les alevins de Liza ramada adaptés à l’eau de mer (EM, 35ppt) ont subi au laboratoire un stress halin par transfert direct de l’eau de mer à l’eau douce (ED, 0,5 ppt) pendant 24 heures. Les aspects hématologiques ainsi que la composition lipidique du tissu branchial des alevins ont été suivis. Le transfert à la basse salinité s’est accompagné d’une diminution significative de l’osmolalité du plasma, du taux d’hématocrite et du nombre des globules rouges. Le suivi de l’évolution des lipides des branchies des alevins en fonction de la salinité du milieu, montre une augmentation des acides gras monoinsaturés, particulièrement l’acide oleique C18 :1(n-9) à la basse salinité.
